: Saint's. Inspired by religious icons and their risas, the protective coverings occasionally used, Barbara Rehus endeavors to keep your standard saints and ordinary people from harm. Physical traits, history, and fantasy all play a role in determining who has been chosen and how they are to be kept safe. Portraits are painted in acrylic on panel, each cradled by a carved encaustic risa.
Q&A with the artists will be moderated by Antonia Lancaster.
