Toby Smith: The Renewables Project.
Toby Smith examines the enormous amount of kinetic energy instilled in the Highlands of Scotland, creating large-scale still images and innovative video works of hydroelectric and wind energy terrains. By using time lapse cameras with only subtle moonlight, Smith's photographs take on a haunting setting while revealing the incredible forces harnessed by the industry. The Renewables Project is a featured exhibition for 2010 Scotiabank Nuit Blanche.
